We are pleased to announce that, following an EGM held at 12.00 noon today, Finance Ireland Limited shareholders approved that PIMCO take a minority equity stake in the Company via their investment vehicle PIMCO BRAVO Fund II, L.P., a $5.5 billion private equity fund.

With circa $1.5 trillion assets under management, PIMCO is one of the world’s largest investment management firms.  This investment in Finance Ireland Limited will enable us to further enhance our position as the leading non-bank challenger in the Irish financial services market place, particularly in the asset finance and commercial mortgage sectors.
